About Elan Publishing Company
Elan Publishing Company is a specialty academic publisher that has, in its own words, been "supplying support materials to educators for decades." The company's catalog is built entirely around the mechanics of running a classroom day: dated and undated teacher plan books, wire-o bound class record books, academic calendars, roll books, and combination plan-and-record volumes that pair a lesson grid with a gradebook in one binding.
Rather than chasing decorative planner trends, Elan's line is organized around the variable that actually determines whether a planner gets used all year: how a teacher's day is structured. Its catalog spans multiple pre-labeled period counts (6, 7, and 8-period layouts), wide and oversized formats for classrooms with large rosters, and a full range of K-12 student planners and organizers alongside the teacher-facing line — a depth of period-specific and format-specific options that few competitors in the plan-book category match.
