About G.T. Luscombe Company, Inc.
G.T. Luscombe Company, Inc. is a family-owned business founded in 1974 and based in Frankfort, Illinois. The company started out selling audio/visual equipment and presentation supplies before it identified a specific gap in the market: standard highlighters and pens bleed through the thin, delicate paper used in Bibles and other reference books. That observation became the company's focus, and G.T. Luscombe has spent decades since developing writing and marking tools engineered specifically for thin-paper use, building exclusive distribution relationships with established brands including Zebra, Sanford, Pentel, Sakura, and Faber-Castell along the way.
The company's Accu-Gel line is built around a solid gel ink formula designed to dry without smearing, fading, or bleeding through India paper, the thinnest commercially available paper stock used in premium Bible printing. In our own testing, the Accu-Gel Bible Hi-Glider Set held up to that standard, producing zero bleed-through on thin paper while keeping highlighted text fully readable through its translucent gel. Beyond highlighters, G.T. Luscombe's catalog covers Bible tabs, underliners, book lights, magnifiers, and illuminated journaling supplies, distributed to Christian bookstores and retailers worldwide.
