About Panda Planner
Panda Planner was created by founder and CEO Michael Leip, who built the system in 2015 after working through Lyme disease, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer. He designed the planner's daily gratitude, goal-setting, and review structure around neuroscience and positive psychology, with the explicit goal of making its users happier and more productive rather than just more organized. Leip later took the idea to the TEDx stage in a talk titled How To Stay Happy When Life Is Punching You In The Face.
The planner is designed in Boston, Massachusetts, with a hardcover built from eco-friendly materials — recycled cardboard and PU/vegan leather — wrapped around 100gsm paper rated to handle fountain pens, markers, and fine-point pens without bleed-through. The lineup spans a 3-month Classic, a 6-month Pro, and a 12-month Weekly edition, all undated so a skipped day never wastes a page. Panda Planner has also partnered with digital-notebook maker Rocketbook to bring its system to a wider productivity audience.
