About SAMPHON
SAMPHON is a lighting brand best known for full-spectrum LED grow lights, and it applies the same USB-powered, panel-driven approach to a line of monitor light bars for home offices. The bars mount with a tool-free counterweight clip designed to grip bezels from thin to thick, and use asymmetric optics that aim light down onto the desk rather than back at the screen, avoiding the glare a standard desk lamp can create.
The monitor-bar line spans a compact eye-care model up through an RGB gaming version that pairs front task lighting with a multi-mode backlight behind the screen. A memory function that recalls the last brightness and color-temperature setting on power-up is a detail more often found on pricier competitors, and it's present across SAMPHON's own line at a fraction of the cost.

Why we recognized SAMPHON
The DeskRated Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. SAMPHON earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, used at a real desk, and judged on merit.
SAMPHON products we rated highly
SAMPHON Monitor Light Bar, Eye-Care USB Reading Monitor Lamp
In our testing, this bar's tool-free counterweight clip mounted in under a minute and gripped the bezel without extra hardware. A memory function recalls the last color temperature and brightness setting on power-up, and the fixture reaches up to 800 lux across a 30-by-20-inch desk area from three switchable color temperatures. It's sized for lighter-duty desks: the 11.8-inch bar suits monitors up to about 27 inches, and brightness and color temperature are set by hand at the bar rather than through auto-dimming or a remote.
